Finally, day's end. My fantasies about Fisherman's Friend were growing
desperate, and the clouds and wind and water weren't helping.
These pictures are of London Bridge. London Bridge was formed the same way
the Twelve Apostles were. Apparently, there used to be more to the bridge,
but part of it collapsed several years ago, stranding a couple of tourists, so
you can't walk out on it anymore. Someday this too will collapse, leaving
more rock stacks. The surf
was impressive, although hard to appreciate without a reference object
for scale. I did enjoy the view, but I was much keener to get back to
the hostel and sleep!
Upon my return, there was good news!
Christian had bought some Fisherman's Friend lozenges
earlier in the day and was kind enough to share them with me :)
