Maits Rest is in a cool temperate rainforest. The story behind it had something
to do with the fact that some sheriff used to rest his horse here long
ago, but as usual, I wasn't listening. (Actually, at this point, I was
starting to not feel well; I thought I was allergic to something in the
forest, but it turned out to be Christian's dreaded plague!!!!)
Anyway, while it's hard to take pictures in the forest, here are some of
the ones that (mostly) came out. It was really neat... very dark, dense
foliage and all sorts of colors and smells.
