The trip down the mountain was much more fun than coming up. There was a
lot more general silliness, and Christian got a lot of pictures of the
insanity of the road coming down. Granted, a lot of the pictures are
blurry, but some of them are cool. If you click through some of them in
rapid succession, you almost get the feeling we got coming down the
mountain :)
We ended up staying the night in a parking lot in some town not too far
from Melbourne. We planned on driving around the Mornington Peninsula the
next day, but a cold night in the car (made worse by wet ski clothes) and
days of driving led to two tired, grumpy campers. We did drive to
Frankston, but ended up getting some spicy noodle dishes and driving back
to Melbourne to recover for the conference.
