Christian is a ski-freak. If we go somewhere, and there is snow and mountains
nearby, he is like a kid within striking distance of Disneyland... Since
we were within a couple of hours of skiing in the Pyrenees, he went nuts
until we drove up there to see what skiing conditions would be like.
Unfortunately, I got some sort of stomach illness on the way up there, but
since we weren't planning on skiing until the next day anyway, it didn't
stop him from dragging me on the slopes (which produced some pretty spectacular
falls - even people I don't know were laughing at me!).
These pictures are from the day before we went skiing; the views from the
next day were even more amazing, but Christian's mother insisted
that we not bring the camera along (with one of her usual tirades about
how dangerous it was - she's always sure we're going to die from
something), so there's nothing from the summit this time... Anyway, these
pictures are from Font Romeu/Pyrenees 2000.
