My housemate from Bosnia, Meliha, and I decided to take a trip to Amsterdam one
lovely weekend. These are the pictures from that trip. The train ride from
Düsseldorf is quite short (about 2 hours), so it was a good day trip destination.
Of course, the fact that I got us lost in Haarlem on the way to the youth
hostel didn't help much, and being tired at the end of it all, I got grumpy
(sorry Meliha!), but otherwise, it was a lovely trip. We got to bike through
Amsterdam (really the only way to see it!), look around, take loads of pictures,
and have some fun. And I got to see my host family from when I was an
au pair in Amsterdam 8 years ago, so it was fantastic!
