Before my summer in Germany, full of German courses and general
troublemaking, I stopped in England to visit one of my best friends in
the universe, Christie, and her little son Arnan, whom I had never had
the chance to meet. They'd lived in South Africa up until recently, so
visiting each other has been close to impossible!
Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to meet Christie's husband this time,
who
was in Bahrain (where they all are now), but it was a wonderful trip.
Christie and I were au pairs together in Holland, and seeing her again was
fantastic and relaxing. She showed me her corner of England and the
English countryside, and I fell absolutely and disgustingly in love with it!
